Before submitting a complete proposal on our portal, applicants must send a brief Letter of Inquiry, VIA E-MAIL to info@scissortailfamilyfoundationok.org, describing the organization or project for which grant support is sought. The pre-application letter is not an optional step; please do not send a full proposal. A good Letter of Inquiry should include your organization's name, 501c3 status, EIN number, address, charitable purpose, the project for which you anticipate requesting funding, a list of officers and board members, and a short organizational history. The Letter of Inquiry should not be more than three pages. Due to the volume of requests and budgetary limitations, we unfortunately have to decline most submissions. If we decide to move forward with your organization's proposal, we will contact you for more information within twelve weeks. We are not able to provide updates or feedback on initial submissions. For more information on writing a good Letter of Inquiry, look here.
If you are invited to submit a full proposal, you will be asked to furnish, VIA E-MAIL, the following information on our grant portal:
All inquiries should follow the process listed above and send a Letter of Inquiry e-mailed to: info@scissortailfamilyfoundationok.org
If, and only if, you do not have access to e-mail, you may send a pre-application Letter of Interest to:
